From the field to the finished product : the culture of a responsible economy
Our status as an agricultural cooperative, our drive towards the long-term management of the assets of our 5,000 planters and our culture of industrial optimization explain and shape our long-standing commitment to sustainable development.
The production of organic and sustainable fuels, investments to reduce our energy consumption or to consume biomass energy to replace fossil fuels, carbon assessments and life cycle analyses conducted for the past several years, agronomics support to well-managed agriculture… are a few examples.
The Management Committee, members of the Board of Directors, Plant Directors and Functional Directors have now formalized our commitment to Sustainable Development.
This commitment must become:
- a competitive advantage recognized by our customers,
- a guarantee of strong governance for our authorities,
- a source of pride and motivation for our cooperative members, employees and more generally our partners, as well as a measure for their actions.
